DOHA 28 May 2025 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar kicked off the National Flag Days celebration by launching a micro exhibit on the Philippine national flag at the Embassy Chancery on 28 May 2025.
Entitled, “Kislap ng Watawat: Pagpupugay sa Simbolismo at Kasaysayan ng Pambansang Watawat,” the micro exhibit provides an overview of the history of the Philippine national flag, including the established protocols and regulations governing its display, folding, and retirement.
DOHA 18 May 2025 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar, in partnership with the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), organized a town hall meeting entitled, “Usapang PhilHealth,” at the Embassy Chancery on 17 May 2025.
The town hall provided an overview of the expanded programs and services offered by PhilHealth following reforms made under Republic Act No. 11223, or the Universal Health Care Act, in 2019.
DOHA 17 May 2025 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar organized a town hall meeting entitled, “Guard Your Gains: Understanding and Preventing Investment Fraud,” at the Embassy Chancery on 16 May 2025.
Participated in by members of the Filipino community in Qatar, the event featured guest speakers Atty. Emilio B. Aquino, Chair and CEO of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Atty. Javey Paul Francisco, SEC Commissioner.
DOHA 13 May 2025 — The Special Board of Canvassers (SBOC) of the Doha Overseas Voting Precinct successfully transmitted the results of the #Halalan2025 overseas voting to the National Board of Canvassers in Manila on 12 May 2025.
A total of 10,418 Filipino voters in the peninsula took part in the inaugural overseas online voting, representing 32.64 percent of the 31,922 registered voters in Qatar.
