  1. Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) from NSO duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (original and 4 copies)
  2. Marriage Certificate – if married in the Court or Church, it should be translated in English with the stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar (original plus 4 copies)
  3. Birth certificate of both parties: for Filipino citizen, submit original birth certificate from NSO duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs; and for foreign nationals, submit birth certificate from country of birth.
  4. Duly accomplished Report of Marriage Form (plus 4 copies)
  5. Passport copy of both parties (1st page and w/ stamp visa) plus 4 copies
  6. Four pieces of photos (1×1 of both parties)
  7. For Divorced, Annulled, or Widowed applicants, submit original and copies of divorce decree, decision regarding annulment, or death certificate of spouse.
  8. The Embassy may require additional requirements as deemed necessary.

(for a Filipino national marrying a foreign national)

  1. Certificate of No Record of Marriage (CENOMAR) issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs – present original and one photocopy
  2. Birth Certificate issued by NSO and duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs – present original and one photocopy
  3. One (1) photocopy each of the passport of the contracting parties with their personal details and signature
  4. Affidavit of Intent to Marry
  5. Philippine address of the Filipino party
  6. Fee:  QR 200.00

  1. Contracting parties should be BOTH Filipino citizens;
  2. Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) from Phil. Statistics Authority (PSA) duly authenticated by DFA-PH (Red Ribbon) - Original and four (4) copies;
  3. Birth Certificate of both contracting parties from DFA-Manila (Red Ribbon) - Original and four (4) copies;
  4. Photo and Signature page of Passport - four (4) copies each;
  5. Six pieces photos passport size of both contracting parties;
  6. Letter of No Objection to Marry issued by the employers of both parties;
  7. Joint Affidavit of Intention to get married executed by contracting parties to be notarized by the Embassy;
  8. Wedding Announcement/Notice to be posted for a minimum of ten (10) working days prior to the wedding date;
  9. Application for Marriage License (Munnicipal Form No. 90) issued by the Philippine Embassy

11. If the contracting party is below 25 years old, submit: Affidavit of Consent issued/signed by the parent/s of both contracting parties, to be notarized by the Philippine Embassy where the parent is residing abroad. If parent is in the Philippines, it should be notarized by Notary Public then authenticated (Red Ribbon) by DFA-Manila. Original and four (4) photocopies;

12. If the contracting party is annulled, submit Annotated Marriage Certificate from PSA duly authenticated by the DFA-PH and original court decision. Original and four (4) photocopies;

13. If the contracting party is a widow/er, submit Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate of spouse, both PSA duly authenticated by the DFA-PH. Original and four (4) photocopies.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR REPORT OF MARRIAGE

(Court/Church/Foreign Embassy)

  1. Duly accomplished Report of Marriage Form - four (4) original forms;
  2. Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) from PSA duly authenticated (Apostille) by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  3. Birth Certificate -  one (1) original and four (4) copies:
    1. For Filipino Citizen - authenticated birth certificate;
    2. For Foreign Nationals - birth certificate issued by the country of birth (with official English translation);
  4. Marriage Certificate - one (1) original and four (4) copies:
    1. If married in the court - should be translated in English and stamped by the Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Qatar - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
    2. If married in a foreign embassy - should be stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
    3. If married in church - stamped by the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  5. Valid passport copy of both contracting parties (data page) - present original and four (4) copies;
  6. Valid Qatar IDs - present original and four (4) copies;
  7. Photos of both contracting parties - four (4) pieces, passport size.
  • If the contracting party is annulled: submit Annotated Marriage Certificate from PSA, and original court decision, both duly authenticated by the DFA - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  • If the contracting party is a widow/er: submit Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate of the deceased spouse, both PSA duly authenticated by the DFA-PH - one (1) original and four (4) copies.
  • For foreign nationals:
  • If annulled, present original divorce decree - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  • If widow/er, present original death certificate - one (1) original and four (4) copies.

The Embassy may require additional requirements as deemed necessary.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MARRIAGES AT THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY

The Embassy solemnizes marriages only if both parties are Filipinos.  Once the application for marriage is received and processed, the wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place at the premises of the Embassy.  Right after the wedding ceremony, the original marriage contract is issued to the contracting parties.

  1. Contracting parties should be BOTH Filipino citizens;
  2. Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) duly authenticated by DFA-PH (Apostilled) - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  3. Birth Certificate of both contracting parties from Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) duly authenticated by DFA-PH (Apostilled) - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  4. Valid passport copy of both contracting parties (data and signature page) - present original and four (4) copies each;
  5. Valid Qatar IDs - present original and four (4) copies;
  6. Photos of both contracting parties - six (6) pieces, passport size;
  7. Letter of No Objection to Marry issued by the employers of both parties;
  8. Notarized Joint Affidavit of Intent to Marry executed by contracting parties;
  9. Wedding Announcement/Notice to be posted for a minimum of ten (10) working days prior to the wedding date;
  10. Application for Marriage License (Municipal Form No. 90) issued by the Philippine Embassy
  • If the contracting party is 18-21 years old: submit Affidavit of Parental Consent issued/signed by the parent/s of both contracting parties, to be notarized by the Philippine Embassy where the parent is residing abroad. If parent is in the Philippines, it should be notarized by Notary Public then authenticated (Apostilled) by DFA - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  • If the contracting party is 21-25 years old: submit Affidavit of Parental Advice issued/signed by the parent/s of both contracting parties, to be notarized by the Philippine Embassy where the parent is residing abroad. If parent is in the Philippines, it should be notarized by Notary Public then authenticated (Apostilled) by DFA - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  • If the contracting party is annulled: submit Annotated Marriage Certificate and original court decision both duly authenticated by the DFA - one (1) original and four (4) copies;
  • If the contracting party is a widow/er: submit Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate of spouse, both PSA duly authenticated by the DFA - one (1) original and four (4) copies.
