This year’s SPLE in Doha covers 21 professional licensure board examinations across various disciplines. Around 450 Filipinos residing and/or working in Qatar are expected to take the examinations.
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 835, series of 2009, the SPLE is held annually to give unlicensed OFWs the opportunity to take the licensure board examinations while residing and/or working in the Gulf region without the need for returning to the Philippines.
