DOHA, 14 August 2019 — A financial literacy seminar entitled: “Usaping Pera, Pagpaplano ng Kita” (Money Talks, Revenue Planning) was held on 16 July 2019 for around 126 returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) housed at the Embassy’s Migrant Workers and Other Filipinos Resource Center.
Organized by the Philippine Embassy in Doha, the seminar impressed upon the importance of financial planning in managing resources, and taught practical ways and methods on how to achieve financial security.

Qatar Airways will offer Doha-Davao and Davao-Doha flights once a week, departing every Friday.
The inclusion of Davao City in the airlines’ new destinations aims to strengthen trade, commercial and tourism links between the Philippines and Qatar. This will also meet the needs of the growing number of Filipinos in Qatar to travel conveniently to Southern Philippines.
