Philippine-Qatar relations are flourishing, complemented by high-level visits and engagements spanning across various fields, including on labor, transportation, commerce, culture, and multilateral cooperation.

The Embassy itself provides a host of services on consular matters, as well as provision of assistance to nationals with the support of partner agencies, namely the Migrant Workers Office (MWO-Qatar), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), and Pag-IBIG.

Originally located in the West Bay Area, the Embassy was initially headed by First Secretary and Consul Mariano A. Dumia as Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i. The Embassy has since moved to its current location in the Jelaiah Area.
