Qatar Airways recently included Davao City in its global network, making it the airline’s third Philippine destination on 18 June 2019.

Qatar Airways will offer Doha-Davao and Davao-Doha flights once a week, departing every Friday.

The inclusion of Davao City in the airlines’ new destinations aims to strengthen trade, commercial and tourism links between the Philippines and Qatar. This will also meet the needs of the growing number of Filipinos in Qatar to travel conveniently to Southern Philippines.

Before the commencement of the Doha to Davao flight, a cultural dance troupe from Davao City performed at the Hamad International Airport to commemorate the maiden flight.
