29 November 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar H.E. Lillibeth V. Pono paid a courtesy call on H.E. Rajeh Hussain Farhan Badi, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the State of Qatar, on 29 November 2023.
The two officials exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, including the latest developments in the region.

DOHA 29 November 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in Doha is happy to note the release of another Filipino national in Gaza on 28 November 2023 as part of the Qatar-mediated “humanitarian pause” agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The Embassy shares with the State of Qatar the aspirations for durable and lasting peace in the region.

DOHA 27 November 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in the State of Qatar kicked off its 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women on 26 November 2023 in line with the UN Women’s initiative entitled, “UNiTE by 2030 to End Violence Against Women (VAW)."
The Embassy's campaign runs from 25 November to 12 December 2023. Throughout this period, the Embassy will be organizing various events. Among these are an awareness-raising seminar and a special “walk-in lane” dedicated for women for all consular services, including passport renewal, on 10 December 2023.

DOHA 25 November 2023 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Doha welcomes the news of the release of a Filipino national in Gaza on 24 November 2023 as part of the Qatar-mediated “humanitarian pause” agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The Embassy recognizes the sustained effort undertaken by relevant parties, notably the State of Qatar, to address the humanitarian needs of all those affected by the ongoing conflict.
