DOHA 03 Agosto 2024 — Kaisa ang Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa Doha, Qatar, sa pagdiriwang ng buong bansa sa Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa at Buwan ng Kasaysayan ngayong Agosto.
Sa taong 2024, ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa ay may temang "Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya.” Sinasalamin nito ang napakahalagang gampanin ng wika bilang lunsaran ng pagpapalaya mula sa karahasan sa kaisipan, kamalayan, kahirapan, katayuan, at kamangmangan.''Salaysay ng Bayan, Saysay ng Bansa" naman ang tema ng Buwan ng Kasaysayan na naglalayong itampok ang kahalagahan ng kasaysayang pampook bilang mahalagang salik sa pagbubuo ng pambansang kasaysayan. Kapag inilagay natin ang ating mga sarili sa konteksto ng ating mga pook na tinitirhan, pinag-aaralan, o pinagtatrabahuhan, lalo tayong napapalapit sa ating nakaraan at sa mga aral na nais nitong ituro sa atin.

DOHA 05 August 2024 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar held the inaugural edition of its “Kapihan with Filipino Entrepreneurs” town hall series on 25 July 2024 at the Embassy's function hall.
The “Kapihan” series gathers Filipino entrepreneurs operating Filipino-owned international micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Qatar to discuss relevant issues, exchange best practices, expand network of contacts, and identify ways the Embassy could be of further assistance.
The inaugural edition saw the participation of 41 Filipino business owners in the food and beverage sector.
The “Kapihan” town hall series is part of the Embassy's economic diplomacy initiative to promote the interests of Filipino entrepreneurs in Qatar. By facilitating these regular gatherings, the Embassy aims to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support among members of the Filipino business community.

DOHA 01 August 2024 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar and Migrant Workers Office-Qatar provided assistance to Filipinos repatriated from Lebanon en route to Manila via the Hamad International Airport in Doha on 31 July 2024.
The Filipino repatriates totaled 19 adults and three infants. They arrived in Manila on 01 August 2024.

DOHA 01 August 2024 — The Philippine Embassy in the State of Qatar joins in the commemoration of the International Humanitarian Law Month 2024.
This year’s theme, “75 Taong Paninindigan sa IHL Kamalayan, Kalinga, Kapayapaan, Kaunlaran: Kalakasan ng IHL sa Bagong Pilipinas,” recalls the 75th anniversary of the Geneva Convention and the 25th anniversary of IHL in the Philippines.
The Philippines subscribes to the basic principle of disinterested humanitarian aid to all victims of war and armed conflict without discrimination. As such, the country is a Contracting Party to the Four Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, namely: (1) Geneva Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field; (2) Geneva Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded, Sick and Shipwrecked Members of Armed Forces at Sea; (3) Geneva Convention Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War; and (4) Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, and Protocol Additional to the Geneva Conventions and Relating to the Protection of Victims of Non-International Armed Conflicts.
