PH Embassy Commemorates Apolinario Mabini Day, 23 July 2023
DOHA 23 July 2023 — On this day in 1864, national hero Apolinario Mabini was born in the province of Batangas. Regarded as the “Brains of the Revolution” and the “Sublime Paralytic,” Mabini played a pivotal role in the Filipinos’ hard-fought struggle for independence.
Republic Act No. 9430 declares the 23rd of June of each year as Apolinario Mabini Day.

PH Ambassador Receives New Thailand Ambassador
DOHA 19 July 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar H.E. Lillibeth V. Pono received the new Thailand Ambassador to the State of Qatar H.E. Sira Swangsilpa on 17 July 2023.
The two officials discussed ways to promote ASEAN interests in Qatar and other matters of mutual interest.

PH Embassy Takes Part in General Assembly of Master Plumbers Group
DOHA 19 July 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in the State of Qatar, represented by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Monica Remsy Calangian, graced the National Master Plumbers’ Association of the Philippines (NAMPAP) State of Qatar Chapter’s General Membership Meeting Technical Symposium on 14 July 2023.
The Embassy also congratulated the members of NAMPAP who passed the recently conducted 2023 Special Professional Licensure Examinations for Master Plumbers.

PH Embassy Highlights PDP Targets in General Assembly of Filipino Engineers Group
DOHA 17 July 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in the State of Qatar, represented by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jeffrey Batac, underscored targets for innovation and change under the Philippine Development Plan for 2023-2028 in the general assembly and midyear technical conference of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc.-State of Qatar Chapter on 14 July 2023.
The Embassy also congratulated members of the group who passed the 2023 Special Professional Licensure Examinations for Registered Electrical Engineers and Registered Master Electrician.
