Declaration of Mpox Outbreak as a Public Health Emergency of Global Concern, 19 August 2024
The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar advises Filipinos to exercise precaution and follow advisories from local health officials in order to protect themselves and others against mpox, the outbreak of which has been recently declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a public health emergency of global concern.

Commemoration of Ninoy Aquino Day Moved from 21 August 2024 to 22 August 2024
The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar informs all Filipinos and the general public that it will be closed on 22 August 2024, Thursday, in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day.
The holiday was moved from 21 August 2024 in line with Proclamation No. 665, which was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on 15 August 2024.
The Embassy will also be closed on 26 August 2024, Monday, in observance of National Heroes Day.

Requirements for passport releasing:
1. Personal appearance. Otherwise, bring an authorization letter.
2. Old/previous passport
3. Receipt
