12 May 2017, Doha - PHASE Qatar safety instructors Mr. Julius Agujar and Mr. Dario Recuelo illustrates basic ergonomics principals and the importance of emergency preparedness planning in the workplace and at home. These are among the several topics discussed during the module 2 session of the health and safety training series conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Qatar for all its personnel in collaboration with the Philippine Association of Safety Engineers (PHASE), a local Filipino community group professionally licensed to conduct health and safety trainings.
The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Doha invites Filipinos in the State of Qatar to “Usapang PhilHealth,” a town hall meeting on the services provided by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), including eligibility requirements and procedures for claiming health benefits in the Philippines.
The town hall meeting will be held at the Embassy Chancery on Saturday, 17 May 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
PhilHealth officials will be at the venue to personally answer queries from our kababayan living and/or working in the State of Qatar.

The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Doha invites Filipinos in the State of Qatar to “Guard Your Gains: Understanding and Preventing Investment Fraud,” a town hall meeting on strategies and other useful pointers on how to safeguard your investments and prevent investment scams.
To be held at the Embassy Chancery on Friday, 16 May 2025, at 8:00 a.m., this town hall meeting will provide valuable information on identifying common investment scams, understanding the tactics used by scammers, learning how to protect yourself and your assets, as well as obtaining resources available to report fraud.
The event will feature guest speaker Atty. Emilio Aquino, Chair and CEO of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), who will be at the venue to personally answer queries from our kababayan living and/or working in the State of Qatar.

The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar is pleased to announce the call for submissions to the 2025 Youth for Humanitarian Disarmament Multimedia Contest under the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM), with the theme, “A Victim-Centered Approach to Peace, Security, Development, and the Convention on Cluster Munitions.”
The 2025 iteration of the Contest is organized by the Republic of the Philippines, in line with its Presidency of the 13th Meeting of the States Parties (13MSP) to the CCM, and in cooperation with the CCM Implementation Support Unit and the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs under its Youth4Disarmament Initiative.
The Contest reflects the Philippines’ longstanding commitment to strengthening the norms of humanitarian disarmament and focuses on victim assistance and its larger societal impact, which is among the Philippines’ priorities for its 13MSP presidency.
The contest is open to all youth aged 18 to 29 years old to submit multimedia artworks (photos, visual arts, or short films/animations) that show how the CCM and humanitarian disarmament contribute to peace, security, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
