DOHA 24 January 2024 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar attended the Philippine Wealth & Wellness Conference, the fifth installment of the Philippine Property & Investor Show-Qatar, on 19 January 2024.
In her opening remarks, Her Excellency Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar Lillibeth V. Pono recognized the nexus between sound health and financial well-being, and emphasized the need to conduct due diligence when investing.

DOHA 22 January 2024 — Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar Her Excellency Lillibeth V. Pono met with His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, on 22 January 2024.
The two officials exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, including the latest developments in the region.

DOHA 04 January 2024 — The ASEAN Committee in Doha (ACD) partnered with the Ministry of Municipality for a tree-planting activity at the Old Airport Park on 20 December 2023.
Organized by the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Qatar, the activity was the ACD’s contribution to the State of Qatar’s Plant Ten Million Trees initiative, which aims to enhance biodiversity, promote environmental sustainability, and improve air quality through the planting of trees.
This event was also in line with the objectives of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Blueprint 2025, which envisions the people-centered and environmentally friendly ASEAN Community.
Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar Her Excellency Lillibeth Pono, the current ACD chair, together with Mr. Jassim Albuainain, Acting Director of the Department of Public Parks of the Ministry of Municipality, led the planting of acacia saplings.
Ambassador Pono was joined by other ACD ambassadors from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
