DOHA 20 November 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar H.E. Lillibeth V. Pono was the Guest of Honor at the 6th Annual Bayanihan Qatar Federation Sportsfest on 17 November 2023.
With the theme, “Building Unity and Cooperation Among Migrant Workers Through Sports," the event brought together 29 different Filipino organizations from the service and hospitality sectors.
In her inspirational speech, Ambassador Pono highlighted the role of sports in bringing out the best of the individual participants, strengthening their physical and mental faculties, and fostering community-building which, in effect, would deepen the spirit of bayanihan.

DOHA 16 November 2023 — Professional Filipino business speaker and trainer Francis Kong paid a courtesy call on officials of the Philippine Embassy in Doha on 09 November 2023 ahead of his scheduled talk for OFWs organized by Frich Revolution.
During the visit, the 2014 Outstanding Filipino (TOFIL) awardee spoke with First Secretary and Consul General Cassandra B. Sawadjaan and Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jeffrey Batac on understanding the condition of Filipinos in the peninsula, promoting financial literacy, and developing the right mentality to succeed.

DOHA 14 November 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in the State of Qatar provided airport assistance to 14 Filipino nationals and six (6) Palestinians who were displaced from their residences in Gaza as a result of the ongoing conflict in the area.
Flying out to Manila from Cairo via Doha on 13 November 2023, the group of 23 is the third batch of Filipino nationals and their Palestinian family members living in the Gaza Strip to exit the Rafah border crossing, where they were assisted by the Philippine Embassy in Egypt.

DOHA 12 November 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in the State of Qatar provided airport assistance to 41 Filipino nationals and seven Palestinians who were displaced from their residences in Gaza as a result of the ongoing conflict in the area.
Flying out to Manila from Cairo via Doha on 11 November 2023, the group of 48 is the second batch of Filipino nationals and their Palestinian family members living in the Gaza Strip to exit the Rafah border crossing, where they were assisted by the Philippine Embassy in Egypt.
