DOHA 04 December 2023 — Through the efforts of the Philippine Embassy and Migrant Workers Office in Lebanon, 19 distressed Filipino nationals from Lebanon, all women, were repatriated on 02 December 2023. They registered for voluntary repatriation in the wake of the recent escalation of violence in the border between Lebanon and Israel.
The female Filipinos were assisted by the Philippine Embassy in Doha as they transited at Hamad International Airport en route to Manila.

DOHA 30 November 2023 — The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Doha is one with the Filipino community in Qatar and elsewhere in the world in commemorating the 160th birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio.
According to the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, “[a]s one of the Philippines' national heroes, Andres Bonifacio co-founded the Kataas-taasan, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (KKK) in 1892 that sought to liberate the Philippines from Spanish colonial rule. It was through the KKK's initiative that the Philippine Revolution began. This movement ultimately led to the Philippines' independence from Spain in 1898.”
Bonifacio Day is celebrated annually on the last day of November.

29 November 2023 — Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar H.E. Lillibeth V. Pono paid a courtesy call on H.E. Rajeh Hussain Farhan Badi, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the State of Qatar, on 29 November 2023.
The two officials exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, including the latest developments in the region.

DOHA 29 November 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in Doha is happy to note the release of another Filipino national in Gaza on 28 November 2023 as part of the Qatar-mediated “humanitarian pause” agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The Embassy shares with the State of Qatar the aspirations for durable and lasting peace in the region.
