DOHA 26 January 2024 — Members of the Philippine Muslim Federation-Qatar met with Philippine Embassy officials, led by Her Excellency Ambassador Lillibeth V. Pono, on 25 January 2024.

PH Ambassador, UDST Dean Explore Possible Institutional Linkages in the Field of Marine Engineering
DOHA 26 January 2024 — Dr. Awni Al-Otoom, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST), paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar Lillibeth V. Pono on 23 January 2024.
The two officials explored possible collaborative projects in the future, including the establishment of institutional linkages in the field of marine engineering.

PH Ambassador Graces Opening of Latest Filipino Diner in Qatar
DOHA 25 January 2024 — In support of the burgeoning Filipino food scene in Doha, officials from the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar, led by Her Excellency Ambassador Lillibeth V. Pono, graced the opening of Filipino restaurant Maharlika Cuisine on 19 January 2024.
Ambassador Pono enjoined Filipinos to take pride in their culinary traditions as a testament to their shared history and as part of the broader efforts to ensure the transmission of the Philippines’ food practices and treasures to new audiences and future generations alike.
