21 March 2017 DOHA, QATAR —Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Alan L. Timbayan presented a copy of his letter of credence to State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, H.E. Soltan Bin Saad Al-Muraikhi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 15.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed the Philippines-Qatar Joint Ministerial Commission on Bilateral Relations (JMCBC), the planned visit of President Rodrigo R. Duterte to Qatar and the bilateral agreements that both countries hope to sign in time or after the visit of the President in the areas of culture, education, investment and health.

Ambassador Timbayan arrived in Qatar on March 08.
