The Philippine Embassy in Doha joins the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process and the entire nation in the observance this September of National Peace Consciousness Month.

Created by virtue of Proclamation No. 675 in 2004, National Peace Consciousness Month aims to instill greater understanding among Filipinos on the comprehensive peace process, and to strengthen institutional and popular support for and participation in this effort.

The month-long commemoration also promotes the global movement spearheaded by the United Nations for a culture of peace based on nonviolence, respect for fundamental rights and freedoms, tolerance, understanding, and solidarity.
