The Philippine Embassy would like to inform the Filipino Community in the State of Qatar that starting 15 June 2015, the Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Expatriate Affairs (GDNPEA) will stop the issuance of the residence permit (RP) stickers on the passports of expatriate residents to be replaced by the new Residence Cards, which will also serve as the identity cards of expatriates residents.

          According to this new procedure, the residence permit sticker will not be affixed on the passports of the expatriate residents in Qatar and the new Residence Card will contain all personal data of the holder.
