DOHA 29 November 2024 — Today marks the annual observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. In his message to commemorate the occasion, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said the Philippines supports Palestine’s “collective aspiration for enduring peace and prosperity.”

He said the Philippines remains gravely concerned with the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza and the increasing tensions in the Middle East.

“The Philippines extends its full support for all initiatives that are geared towards the revival of the peace process and the achievement of a lasting and just solution to the Middle East conflict,” he said.
