DOHA 13 April 2024 – Top Filipino talents Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Mañalac drew thousands in a sold-out concert at the Qatar National Convention Center on 11 April 2024.

Held in time for the Eid al-Fitr celebration in Doha, the musical event showcased the two artists’ extensive repertoire of original hits and a selection of covers.

Among those who attended the concert was Her Excellency Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar Lillibeth V. Pono, who said the duo’s energy and chemistry on stage were proof of Filipinos’ world-renowned musical artistry.

“I am pleased that Sarah and Bamboo provided audiences in Qatar an opportunity to showcase homegrown Filipino talents,” she said. “Events like this signal the growth of the Philippines’ creative economy beyond our local borders.”
