DOHA 23 November 2023 — The Philippine Embassy in the State of Qatar, led by H.E. Ambassador Lillibeth V. Pono, took a guided tour of the Hamad Port Visitors Center in Umm Al-Houl on 16 November 2023.

The tour included a visit to the Center’s Maritime Museum, which showcases Qatari maritime heritage and trade over the years, as well as the Center’s Aquarium, which houses thousands of fishes and aquatic creatures.

The tour is part of the Embassy’s cultural immersion initiative in celebration of the shared maritime heritage of the Philippines and Qatar, both being coastal states.
