27 February 2018 DOHA – The Philippine Embassy in Doha, Qatar joined international community in the observance of World Cancer Day on the theme "We Can - I Can" in Aspire Park on 22 February 2018.

The Embassy displayed a cultural booth and participated in the information awareness activities during the event. Other participating communities such as Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Iraq, Nepal, among others also rendered support for the fight against cancer.

According to the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), “The World Health Organization’s (WHO) theme ‘We Can – I Can’ means that we can all do something together to reduce the impact of cancer. For example, all of us can choose to eat healthy food, undertake physical activity and stop smoking to reduce the risk of developing cancer.”  END
