21 February 2017 DOHA — Philippine Export Zone Authority (PEZA) Director General Charito Plaza urged Qatar to invest in the Philippines during a courtesy call on His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the State of Qatar, at the sidelines of PEZA’s investment conference on February 16.
Director General Plaza discussed PEZA’s role in developing economic zones in the Philippines. She said that PEZA is currently developing more economic zones to generate more foreign investments.
Minister Al Thani welcomed the invitation and said that he looks forward to stronger Philippines-Qatar ties.
