17 November 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Doha launched its “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) program by conducting a consular outreach mission in Al Khor last November 11.
The activity was held at the Al Khor Community Old MPR (AKIS School) with the assistance of Al Khor Pinoys, a Filipino organization based in Al Khor, and other Filipino community organizations in Qatar.
With the EOW program, the Embassy intends to visit various localities to bring its services closer to the Filipinos in Qatar.
The Embassy team, which was led by Ambassador Wilfredo C. Santos, processed twenty-four (24) passport renewals, one (1) passport extension, eight (8) applications for the NBI Clearance, notarized and authenticated thirteen (13) documents, and handled two (2) Reports of Birth.
The Embassy team also included representatives from the Assistance to Nationals Section, the Pag-IBIG Fund, and the Social Security System (SSS).
