06 October 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Doha called on the new Dean of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar, Prof. James B. Reardon-Anderson on October 04 to explore possible areas of cooperation. Prof. Reardon-Anderson is a specialist in modern Chinese history and has authored five books on China.
Institutional linkages and cooperation on migrant workers’ welfare were among the areas that the two sides agreed to explore. Georgetown Qatar was also invited to collaborate with the Embassy and the rest of the ASEAN Committee in Doha in the celebration of ASEAN’s 50th Anniversary next year.
