26 July 2015 - Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Wilfredo C. Santos personally congratulated Embassy personnel who were recently recognized by the DFA for their outstanding and loyal service to the Department of Foreign Affairs. Foremost among them is Ms. Maria Carmela R. Amaro (FSSE III) who will receive the “Outstanding Employee Award” for her exemplary performance as Consular Assistant at the DFA Assistant Secretary’s Office of the Office of Consular Affairs. Ms. Amaro is being recognized for being efficient and hard-working personnel. She has shown leadership and initiative at work. Her good natured disposition exudes pleasant impression to the general public and serves as a good example to her co-workers. Ms. Amaro assumed her role as Secretary to the Ambassador and Attaché at the Philippine Embassy in Doha on 25 March 2015.

Meanwhile, the following Embassy personnel will be receiving Loyalty Awards: Mr. Abdullah P. Cali (FSSE II/Translator, Interpreter, Writer, Consular Assistant for ATN and Attaché) for 35 years of service; Ms. Liza L. Dean (FSSO III/Consular Assistant, Collecting Officer and Attaché) for 25 years of service; Ms. Victoria P. Artificio (FSSO IV/Administrative Officer and Attaché) for 20 years of service; Ms. Najela A. Raymundo (FSSE I/Assistant and Attaché) for 15 years of service; and Ms. Vanessa K. De Castro (FSSE II/Assistant, Records Officer and Attaché) for 10 years of service.

The conferment will be made in September 2015 at the DFA in Manila. END
