DOHA 11 April 2025 — The Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) of the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Doha successfully conducted the Final Lockdown and Sealing (FLS) of the Overseas Voting and Counting System (OVCS) equipment to be used in the 2025 National Elections at the Embassy Chancery on 11 April 2025.

The purpose of the FLS is to ensure that the General Election is not yet initialized and contains zero “0” votes.

The event was witnessed by members of the Filipino community and political parties participating in the upcoming midterm polls.

The OVCS will be officially initialized when voting starts on 13 April 2025, at 8:00 a.m. (Qatar time).
