DOHA 13 December 2024 — Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Her Excellency Lillibeth V. Pono, provided assurances of the Philippine Government’s continued support for Filipinos working in Qatar during the Migrant Workers Resource Center’s (MWRC) yearend thanksgiving event on 07 December 2024.

Addressing MWRC clients, Ambassador Pono said, “Despite the challenges that you are currently confronted with, please find comfort in the fact that there are people actively working to ensure your welfare and well-being, including of course the Embassy and its Migrant Workers Office (MWO).”

Ambassador Pono also thanked MWO and OWWA personnel for providing round-the-clock assistance to MWRC clients.
