DOHA 23 March 2025 — Philippine Ambassador to the State of Qatar, His Excellency Mardomel Celo D. Melicor, joined the 72nd ASEAN Committee in Doha (ACD) Heads of Mission Meeting held on 17 March 2025.

Affirming the strength of the relations between ASEAN and the State of Qatar, the meeting outlined the group’s calendar of activities for 2025 which aims to advance engagement in various fields of cooperation such as culture, environment, security, trade, health and sports.

After the meeting, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand and ACD Chair His Excellency Sira Swangsilpa hosted an iftar gathering for the ACD Heads of Missions and their spouses, and members of the ACD Working Group.

The ACD is composed of the Embassies of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
