1. Affidavits, Sworn Statements, Special Power of Attorney, Certification, etc.

  • Personal appearance of the person/s executing/signing the document

2. Acknowledgment of Instruments (Deeds, SPA, Real Estate Mortgage, Etc.)

 

  • Personal appearance of the person/s signing the document/s

  • Original documents

  • Philippine passport photocopy

  • Residence permit and photocopy

 

3. Parental Travel Permit, Authorization to Renew or Apply for Passport and DSWD Travel Permit

 

  • Personal appearance of the parents executing/signing the document

  • Philippine passport photocopy

  • Residence permit and photocopy

 

4. Affidavit of Support

 

  • Personal appearance of the person/s executing/signing the document

  • Printed copy of the visa indicating that the affiant is the visa sponsor (in English)

  • Original Salary Certificate (in English)

  • Philippine passport photocopy

  • Residence permit and photocopy

 

Notarization or Acknowledgment Fee:  QR 100.00 per document

Procedure:

  1. The affiant must be personally present when presenting the original document for acknowledgment or notarization.  Copy of passport and residence ID of affiant must also be submitted.

  2. If document is in order, processor issues receipt and the applicant pays the corresponding fee at the cashier.

  3. Applicant is advised on the date and time of release of document.  For documents with acknowledgment and certification (red ribbon and dry seal), release is after two (2) working days.  For documents with notarization (wet seal only) received in the morning, release is in the afternoon of the same day while for documents received in the afternoon, release is in the morning of the following working day.

 

Authentication

  1. Authentication of Documents from the Philippines for use in Qatar

  • Original document must be duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs before it can be authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in Doha. (example: birth, marriage, death certificates; school credentials; NBI clearance, etc.)

  1. Authentication of Documents issued in Qatar

  • Original document issued in Qatar must be duly stamped/authenticated by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) before it can be authenticated by the Philippine Embassy, Doha

  1. Authentication of Labor Contracts / Documents must be submitted to the following offices,  according to the sequence below:

  • Qatar Chamber of Commerce

  • Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs

  • Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO in Bin Omran Area)

  • Philippine Embassy (Consular Section, West Bay Area)

 

Authentication Fee:  QR 100.00 per document

Procedure:

  1. Applicant submits document for authentication to consular processor.  If document is in order, processor issues receipt and the applicant pays the corresponding fee at the cashier.

  2. Applicant is advised on the date and time of release of document.  For documents received in the morning, release is in the afternoon of the same day while for documents received in the afternoon, release is in the morning of the following working day.
